Data Deletion
Effective October 6, 2026
This page explains how to disconnect your accounts, how to remove our access on each platform, and how to have your data deleted. It covers every Future Frame Studios app that connects to another platform: FFS Social Intelligence (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Bluesky and Google Business Profile), FFS Cartographer (Meta), and our Google tools. What each app accesses is described in our Privacy Policy.
1. Disconnect in your dashboard
Open the Connections page of your Future Frame Studios dashboard and choose Disconnect on the account. We stop using that access at once, and within 7 days we destroy the stored access and delete the data we stored from that platform for the account.
For YouTube, we also revoke our access with Google right away and delete the YouTube data we stored for that channel within 7 days.
2. Remove our access on the platform
You can also remove our access from the platform's own settings at any time. Look for the app named Future Frame Studios (earlier named FFS Cartographer on Meta).
- Facebook and Instagram (Meta): on Facebook, open Settings and privacy, then Settings, then Business integrations. Select the app, choose Remove, and confirm.
- Threads: disconnect in your dashboard, or follow Threads' instructions for removing apps and websites connected to your profile.
- Google, YouTube and Google Business Profile: go to Google's security settings page at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions and remove the app's access.
- TikTok: in the TikTok app, open Settings and privacy, then Security and permissions, then Apps and services permissions, and remove the app.
- LinkedIn: open Settings and privacy, then Data privacy, then Permitted services (under Other applications), and remove the app.
- Bluesky: disconnect in your dashboard. If you gave us an app password, you can also delete it in Bluesky under Settings, then Privacy and security, then App passwords.
Removing access on the platform stops our access to that account. Our daily connection check detects a removal made there, and we then delete the stored access and the data we stored from that platform for the account within 7 days.
3. Ask us to delete your data
Email info@futureframestudios.com with the subject line "Data deletion request" and tell us the account, Page, or channel (and the platform) it concerns. We delete the information we hold about you or your business, including meeting notes and transcripts, within 7 calendar days of a written request, and confirm by reply. Unless you ask, we keep it as part of our records. The one exception is platform data in FFS Social Intelligence, which the platforms' terms require us to delete without being asked: when an account is disconnected or our access to it is removed, we delete the data we stored from that platform for the account as soon as we can, and within 7 calendar days (sections 1 and 2).
For a connected account, this includes its access, its performance history, comments, and the platform's links and identifiers for posts made through the dashboard. We keep only our own approval and publishing records (who approved each post and when it was published), a record that the request was made and completed, records the law requires us to keep, counts of our own work that do not identify you (for example, how many posts we have published and for how many clients), and the footage, audio recordings, photographs and other media we capture or create for a project, with the project files used to make it, which remain our property under our client agreements. None of these retained records contain data from the platforms. Backups: our dashboard's database keeps a rolling recovery history of up to 30 days, which we use only to recover from a failure, and deleted data leaves it as that history ages out. FFS Social Intelligence's stored access and its metrics bank are not backed up. Backups of our research database (FFS Cartographer) are kept on our own storage, and we delete requested data from them as well.
Deleting the data we hold does not delete posts, videos, or other content you published on a platform (including YouTube). You manage those on the platform itself.
